Gold price per gram in Singapore
The gold spot price per gram in Singapore dollars is the international XAU/USD price, quoted per troy ounce, converted at the live USD/SGD rate and expressed per gram. It moves almost around the clock.
Spot is the price of raw gold. A physical bar or split costs spot plus a premium that covers refining, minting and handling — and that premium is higher per gram on smaller pieces.
How do you decide your prices?
Every price is the live international gold spot (XAU/USD multiplied by the live USD/SGD rate) plus a published premium for that weight. There is no hidden markup — the spot and the premium are the whole price, and they update in real time.
What is the premium, and why is it higher on smaller pieces?
The premium is what you pay above the live spot price. It covers refining, minting, assay packaging and handling — costs that are much the same whether a bar weighs 1 gram or 100 grams, so per gram they weigh more on a smaller piece. That is why a 1g bar carries a higher premium than a 50g or 100g bar from the same refiner. We sell two ways: standard bars from LBMA-accredited refiners such as PAMP, priced by weight; and the Premium Curve, where the premium on your splits and small bars falls as your accumulated grams grow toward 50g. Every premium is published on our pricing page, so you can see exactly where your size sits.
Why does the price move while I am looking at it?
Gold trades around the world almost 24 hours a day, so the spot price is always moving. We show you the live number. Your price is locked the moment you confirm and pay — after that, market movement does not change what you owe.
Is the price I see the final price?
The gold price is live. At checkout you will also see any delivery fee and payment-processing fee, listed separately before you pay. There is no GST.
